Lydia is a highly organized, detail-oriented, and inherently creative individual with a passion for social media, marketing, photography, and new technology. She writes clear and creative copy in line with a given brand that relays relevant information and evokes emotion.
As a Client Service and Social Media Executive at advertising agency McKenzie Wagner, Inc. for six years, she's done a little bit of everything. At MW she managed and coordinated traffic for several accounts, actively participating in all facets of project management and client service and specializing in social media and online campaigns. She oversaw all aspects of creative from conception to execution including direct mail, websites, newspaper, brochures, e-mail blasts, social media, TV, radio, outdoor advertising. and more.
She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University in 2009. After which, she worked at Carle Clinic in their Marketing and Market Research departments. There, she coordinated both internal and external events, monitored ROI for campaigns and media hits, and collected and compiled market research data to put marketing plans into action.
Most recently, in 2019, she started a passion project - The White Space Home (@thewhitespacehome on Instagram). Stemming from her love of interior design and the purchase of a new construction home, and leveraging her eye for photography and knowledge of social media marketing, she’s grown an Instagram following to over 2,000 in under a year organically, and monetized it. In the process, much has been learned about Instagram marketing. Knowledge that she now puts to use for clients.
